The most frequent case is the takeover of an existing salon. The business licence is personal and non-transferable: buying the business, the lease and the fittings does not transfer the right to operate. The buyer files their own application, with their own qualification, ideally before signing, never after. We synchronise the two calendars, business sale and licence, to avoid a salon closed in between.

How does the filing proceed?

We prepare the file, submit it on MyGuichet to the Directorate-General for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and follow it through to the decision. You sign, we do the rest; the flat fee is confirmed in writing before any hour is billed.

Salon as a company or as a sole trader?

A salon with a commercial lease, equipment and staff is better held in a company: the SARL-S at the single EUR 2,049 flat fee separates assets, and salon payroll, from EUR 20 excl.
