What the site actually stores
The site sets no cookies. It writes a single item into your browser's local storage, for audience measurement. The rules cover the storing of information on your device whatever the mechanism, so we describe what is actually written rather than a generic category.

Two measurement layers, no advertising
The measurement described above is ours. Our host operates a second one, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which counts page views and measures real loading times. It is served from our own domain, without cookies and without writing anything into your browser: it therefore does not appear in the table above, which lists what is stored on your device.
No advertising cookies, no ad network, no social network pixel, no retargeting tool. Nothing written on your device is readable by another site.
The refusal button below switches OFF our measurement. It does not switch off the host's, which stores nothing and does not identify you; for that one, your browser's script blocking or a privacy extension remain the means at your disposal.
Why we do not ask for your consent
The site's audience measurement falls under the exemption regime applicable to statistics strictly limited to improving the service, which the Luxembourg authority assesses against cumulative conditions. We meet all of them:
- Purpose limited to traffic measurement and site usability, to the exclusion of any advertising.
- First party only: the data never leaves our domain and is passed to no analytics provider.
- No cross-site linking, no tracking from one site to another: the data is written in a storage area specific to financialservices.lu.
- No IP address retained: it is neither logged, nor derived, nor used as an identifier.
- Results used in aggregate, never to reconstruct an individual journey.
- Identifier limited to 13 months.
Refusing measurement
The button below records your refusal on this device. It takes effect immediately: from the next page load, no variant is assigned and no data is sent. Refusing is as easy as undoing the refusal.
We also honour, with nothing for you to do, the refusal signals sent by your browser: Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If either is active, no measurement takes place.
Deleting what is already stored
Site data can be deleted from your browser preferences, under privacy, site data. Doing so also erases your refusal, if set: you will need to record it again from this page.
Browser settings alone do not express your choice: the button above is what counts.
